Frances Ellen (Walters) Bowling

Frances Ellen Bowling 93 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her home.

She was born on August 13, 1931, in Lexington, IN to Otha and Grace Campton Walters.  Frances was a retired secretary for I.C.I. of Americas in Charlestown, IN, and Jeffboat, Inc. in Jeffersonville, IN.

Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Donahue, and a grandson, Andy Hyatt.

Survivors include her, daughters, Sherry Patrick (Ray) of Sellersburg, Lynn Thompson (Allen) of Borden, IN and Cindy Givans (Russell) of Jeffersonville; sister, Helen Holstein of Sun City, FL; grandchildren, Patrick Barry ( Juwanna) of Henryville, IN, Nicole Brown (Andre) of Jeffersonville, Joni Collins (David) of Georgetown, IN, Kate Robinson (Don) of Memphis, IN, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous great- great-grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday January 11, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday January 10, 2025, and after 12:00 pm on Saturday January 11, 2025.
