Floyd Ray Dickey, 87, formerly of New Washington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 24 2016 in San Antonio, TX.
Mr. Dickey was born on January 22, 1929 in Speed, IN to Jacob and Elsie (Robinson) Dickey. He was a retired mechanic, farmer, and a member of the New Washington Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joyce Bower; son, Billy R. Dickey.
Survivors include his daughters, JoAnn Smith (Marvin) of Nabb, IN, and Janice Embry (James) of Jeffersonville, IN; sons, Jerry Dickey (Brenda) of New Washington, IN, and Mike Dickey (Lisa) of Charlestown, IN; sister, Juanita Bray of San Antonio, TX; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 3:30pm at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington. Visitation with the family will be held between 2pm and 3:30pm.
