Fern V. Bower

Mrs. Bower passed away Thursday October 8, 2009 at Weston's Mini Home in New Washington.
She was born on December 16, 1919 in Clark County, IN the daughter of Charles and Goldie Stoner Dean. She was a retired Assistant Post Master for the New Washington Post Office, attended New Washington Christian Church, enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and working with her flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas Bower(Betty) and Steven Bower(Gail) both of New Washington; three sisters, Kathrine Smith and Belvia Layman both of New Washington, and Barbara Turner, Tacoma, Washington; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ernest Bower in 1980, brothers John and Cecil Dean.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 11, 2009 at 1 PM at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4 to 8 PM and after 10 AM Sunday.
