Mr. Long passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany
He was born October 6, 1935 in New Washington, IN to son Of Leslie A. and Etta Laswell Long. He was a former truck driver and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God, American Legion Post 335, V.F.W. Post 1427 both of Charlestown and the Southern Indiana Bluegrass Music Association.
He is survived by his son, Randall Long of Lexington, IN, brother; Samuel Long of Lexington, IN, sisters; Shirley Davis of New Washington, IN, Della Beach of Jeffersonville, IN, Virginia Vest of Madison, IN and a granddaughter, Karli Long and nieces and nephews.
