BOYER, Ethelyne (Leffler), a 34 year resident of Shell Point Village, Ft. Myers, Florida, died on September 13, 2010.

She was born at home in Locust Point, Indiana on September 8, 1914, she is now reunited with her husband Clarence who died in the 48th year of their marriage on March 8, 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arch and Ida Leffler, and her 3 brothers, Chester, Glen and Kermit. She became the first member of her family to graduate from college when she matriculated from Hanover College in 1937. While her principle focus and goal was always on her family, she achieved professional acclaim and recognition for her excellence as a loving and effective teacher of 4th and 5th grade students in the Springfield Pennsylvania School District. Throughout her life she was actively involved with the church and sustained by her faith

She is survived and always will be lovingly remembered by her children Jeanne (Bill) Todd, Dawn Roxby, Mahlon (Diane) and Marc Boyer; by her grandchildren Pamela Nuss, Robin (Ed) Gefen, Jennifer Nuss, Karen (Garrett) Pope, Jason (Nikki) and David (Devon) Roxby, Timothy (Elizabeth), Christopher and Andrew Boyer; her 8 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Lilah, Laura, Daniel, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Rowan and Noah Brian; and many other friends and relatives.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home located at 206 East Main Street in New Washington, IN. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a tribute and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, our mother requested that any donations be made to the Alice B. Lloyd College, 100 Purpose Road, Pippa Passes, Kentucky 41844.
