Ernest Johnson, Jr, 60, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at River Crossing in Charlestown.
He was born on October 29, 1951 to Ernest & Margaret Maxey Johnson in
New Albany, IN. He was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the Indiana Department of Natural Recourses. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vetchel Johnson.
Survivors include his brothers, Julius Johnson of New Albany, IN, and
Nicky Johnson of Louisville, KY; sisters, Pamela Smith of Louisville, KY, Shirley Smith of Louisville, KY, Nikita Wise of Louisville, KY, and Concetta Russ of Louisa, VA; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 4pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Monday after 2pm till the time of the service.
