Erick Lee Bodkin, 48, of Charlestown, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on September 16, 1967 to Jesse and Glenna (Cornett) Bodkin in Jeffersonville, IN. He worked maintenance for IDX, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenna Bodkin, and his uncle, Stevan Ottman.
Survivors include his daughter, Avia Browning of New Albany, IN; father, Jesse Bodkin of Jeffersonville, IN; sister, Doreen Smith (Doug) of Charlestown, IN; nephews, Zachary & Samuel Love both of Charlestown, IN; aunts, Lenda Davis (Ron) of Charlestown, IN, Brenda Petters (Kevin) of Charlestown, IN, Sandy Ottman of Charlestown, IN, and Ruth Freeman of Charlestown, IN; uncle, Rollo Ison (Geneva) of Charlestown, IN; numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June16, 2016 at 12pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday.
