Emma Jean (Lindenmayer) Yount

Emma Jean Yount, 85 formerly of Marysville, IN passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Emma was born on February 19, 1932 to Francis and Iola Christensen Lindenmayer. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown, IN and retired from Clark Memorial Hospital where she was a Registered Nurse.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Yount; son, Brian Yount; grandchildren, Brent and Brandon Yount; sister, Carolyn Holder and brother, David Lindenmayer.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Burns (Thomas) of Jeffersonville, sons, Robert L. Yount, Jr. (Debbie Byerly) of Jeffersonville, Steven M. Yount (Mary) of Charlestown, and Patrick Yount (Teresa) of Scottsburg, IN; sister, Mary Garrett of Charlestown; brothers, Robert Lindenmayer (Wanda) of Marysville, IN; Francis John Lindenmayer (Janice) of Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law, Kim Yount of Knoxville, TN; 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday January 19, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown with burial in Barnes Cemetery near Nabb, IN. Visitation will be from 11 am to 8 pm on Thursday and from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
