Mrs. Dean passed away peacefully Thursday December 24, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Pauline was a registered nurse for over 40 years, and retired with more than 30 years tending to the sick and injured of the county at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Laura Taflinger Smith, a brother, Theodore Smith, her devoted husband, Howard Dean, Jr; and a granddaughter, Pamela Marie Dean.
Survivors include a daughter; Laura Rose (Kitty) Noble and her husband Bobby of New Washington, sons; Eugene Paul (Skip) Dean and his wife Carol of Milford, OH, Billy Howard Dean and his wife Barbara of Radcliff, KY, Theodore Douglas (Teddy) Dean and his wife Jerrylyn of New Washington, and Anthony Joseph (Tony) Dean and his wife Terre of New Washington, and 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
