Elsie Pearl Mcvicker

Elsie Pearl McVicker, 94 of Charlestown, IN passed away on May 30, 2017 at Kindred Health and Rehab in Sellersburg, IN.
She was born on April 3, 1923 in Butler County, KY to Jake and Minnie Vaughn Mefford. Elsie was a former cafeteria worker for the Charlestown Schools and a member of the Otisco United Methodist Church and attended North Charlestown Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McVicker and daughter in law Mary McVicker.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry McVicker (Joyce) of Sellersburg and Roger McVicker of Charlestown; sister, Betty Groves of Owensboro, KY; grandchildren, Anita Tate (Mark), Pam McCoy (Steve), Michael McVicker, Christy Baker (John); great grandchildren, Kristen and Amber Moore, Garrett, Austin and Conner McVicker, Andrea and Matthew McCoy, Mary, Abby and Lori Bake, Kaitlyn and Hannah Tate; great great grandchildren, Kylie Lewellen, Jessalynn and Oakley McVicker.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday June 2, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm and after 9 am on Friday.
