Ellen Darlene (Reynolds) Futch

Ellen Darlene Futch 73, of Salem, IN passed away on August 5, 2021, at her residence.  She was born on September 29, 1947, in Charlestown, IN to William and Mary Aldridge Reynolds.  Ellen was an accountant, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was also member of Bunker Hill Christian Church in Salem, IN.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Norman P. Futch; daughter, Mary Beth Jackson and her husband James; sons, Ronald L. Carlton and his wife Cathy, Darren L. Futch and Daryl L. Futch and his wife Griselda; sister Brenda S. Reynolds; granddaughters, Ellen J. Taves, Mary K. Carlton, Angelika D. Gibson, Sheena D. Carlton, Lisa Weakley, April Collins, Amber N. Wadsworth, Alicia M. Futch and Casey Russell; grandsons, Phillip L. Carlton, James E. Jackson, Brian D. Carlton, Jacobi Carlton and Dustin Futch; great grandchildren, Abigail, Henry, Curt and Drake; and daughter in law Regina Carlton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Adam T. Carlton; sisters, Thelma Calloway and Edna Pauline Toops.

Cremation was Ellen’s wishes with a Celebration of Life Service.  Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Bunker Hill Christian Church in Salem beginning at 12:00 pm with lunch and fellowship to follow.
