Ms. Simpson was born November 19, 1919 in Jeffersonville, IN.and passed away on Friday September 25, 2009 at Rolling Hills Health Care in New Albany, IN.
She was Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Charlestown in the years 1952-1959 and 1964-1967, City Judge from 1972-1975, also worked for ICI and was Executive Secretary for her husband John F. Simpson Attorney at Law and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge #327 Jeffersonville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Simpson, sisters, Kathryn Hobson and Margaret Switzer, brothers Francis and Ernest Stoner.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Fleece (Steven), Charlestown; son Jeffrey Simpson, Falls Church, VA; three grandchildren, Steven, Jennifer and Jamie; two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Alex.
