Elizabeth Ann Meece, 80, of Otisco, In, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Scott Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 16, 1932 in Franklin Co., KY to George W. and Elaine (Webster) Reading. She was a retired bus driver of 16 years for Head Start, worked as a Tupperware sales manager, and was a former nurse at Central State Hospital in KY. She was also member of the Otisco United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gus Wade Meece, Sr; son, Gus Wade Meece, Jr.; step-son; Charles A. Meece, sister; Hallie J. Keith, brothers; Howard and Alvin Reading.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Meece of Otisco, IN, and George Kevin Meece (Angela) of Otisco, IN; daughters; Nancy L. Absher (Woodrow Jamison)of Otisco, IN, and Linda S. Larson (Gary) of Memphis, IN; step-son; William Curtis Meece of Seattle, WA, 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 12pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm and after 9am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
