Edward “Pappy” Stewart Jr., 74 of Marysville, IN passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Stewart was born November 19, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of Edward and Martha Ann Clark Stewart Sr. He was a retired Press Operator for Nibco in Louisville, KY. Edward was a U.S. Army Veteran a member of American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a former Charlestown little league football and baseball coach.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Mills(Tony) of Jeffersonville, IN and Erika A. Pace(Jeff) of Marysville, IN; sons, Edward Stewart III(Rita) of Jeffersonville, IN and Richard T. Stewart(Patty) of Henryville, IN; 12 grandchildren, Jennie, Jessica, Sam, Tom, Tony Jr, Sean, Heather, Dakotah, Kaylee, Stephen, Elizabeth and Aniyah; 7 great-grandchildren, Ciara, Lincoln, Gavin, McKenna, Ashlyn, Brady and Caydence; several nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Erika H. Stewart on May 10, 1997, sister Jan Duncan and brother, David Stewart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will held on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Wednesday until time of service. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Stewart may take the form of donations to the Charlestown Little League Football Program.
