Edna Mae Madden, 91, of Charlestown, IN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday October 18, 2014.
She was born on May 24, 1923 in Hazard, KY to Harlan and Mallie Browning Combs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing games, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and reading her bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Homer Madden in 2008 and her son; William “Buddy” Madden.
She is survived by her sons; David Madden (Jackie) of Charlestown, IN, Roy Madden (Debbie) of Richmond, KY, grandchildren Scott Madden (Megan) of Marine, IL and Michelle Cantrell (Chet) of Troy, IL, great grandchildren; Eric Scott Madden of Troy, IL and Harper Lacy Madden of Marine, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with a graveside service on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, KY. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
