Edith Jane (Mounce) Adams

Edith Jane Adams, 87, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center at Norton Hospital.

She was born on October 3, 1932 to Willis and Sarah Brinson Mounce in Somerset, Ky. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl Layton Adams and several siblings.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Lori Yates and her husband Gary of Sellersburg, IN and Connie Redmon and her husband Lee of Brandenburg, Ky;  her sons, Donnie Adams Charlestown and Brian Adams Louisville, KY; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am on Wednesday.

Due to the recent Governor’s mandate, we kindly ask that everyone attending the funeral service or visitation please wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
