Eddie "Junie" Lynn Jr.

Eddie “Junie” Lynn Jr., 69 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Eddie was born on January 12, 1951 in New Albany, IN, the son of Edward M. and Thelma M. Hoffman Lynn Sr. who preceded him in death.  He retired after 33 years of service with B & L Curry and Son’s in New Albany, IN.  Junie served during the Vietnam War with the United States Marines, as well as, served in the Army National Guard.  Eddie was a life member of the V.F.W. in New Albany and Charlestown, IN.  He enjoyed racing remote control cars at Southern Indiana R. C. Track and working on cars with his son.  Eddie also liked camping, but one of his true joys was eating his mothers-in-law bean soup with cornbread.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Paula L. Lawton Lynn; his sons, Samuel A. Lynn and his wife, Megan of Charlestown, IN and Edward M. Lynn III of Salem, IN; sisters, Anna Faulkenburg of English, IN, Debbie Lake of Louisville, KY and Paula Sue Risner of English, IN; brother, Dennis Lynn of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Philip, Greg and Eric; great-grandchildren, Cole, Cohen and Corbin.

Life Celebration Services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown at 11:00 AM with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday at 2:00 to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Eddie may take the form of donation to St. Jude Research Hospital.
