Eddie B Hancock

Edgar ‘Eddie’ Brian Hancock 70, of Jeffersonville, IN.  passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  He was born October 6, 1951, in Battle Creek, MI. to Virginia Elanor Decamp Hancock. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors, listening to the old country and gospel music, watching The Price Is Right and The Lone Ranger.  He had a knack for picking up and repeating catchphrases from tv, his favorite was ‘Come on down Eddie Hancock ‘.

Eddie is survived by his brothers, John Hancock and wife Ann, David Hancock and wife Susan, Paul Hancock, and Peter Hancock and wife Laura; his sisters, Joanna Keshner and husband Richard and Marti Milam and husband Bob; and his nieces and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Elanor Decamp Hancock, and his brother, Daniel Hancock.

Eddie’s family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You for the exceptional care provided to him at Morgan Trail and Volunteers of America.

Cremation was chosen, with a graveside service to be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Charlestown Cemetery.
