Earl Wesley Smith, 93 of Charlestown died Wednesday April 25, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 18, 1918 in Ohio County, KY to Dowe and Vienna Hunt Smith. Mr. Smith was an army veteran of World War II and a retired Mechanical Parts Assembler from Naval Ordnance.
Survivors include his wife the former Dorothy Richmond, sons; Richard Smith of Charlestown and David Smith of Crosby, TX and five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
