Dorothy Elizabeth (Kirby) Richie

Dorothy Elizabeth Richie, 86 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
She was born on February 11, 1931 in St. Joe, Missouri to Lloyd and Mildred Cameron Kirby. Mrs. Richie was a former cafeteria worker for Greater Clark County Schools and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Richie and sister, Barbara Waltz.
Survivors include her daughter, Louann Conrad of Charlestown; sons, Richard J. Richie (Laura) and Gary Richie (Jackie) both of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, Richard J. Brown of St. Joe, MO, Jimmy and Billy Helmbrecht both of Evansville, IN; sisters, Carolyn Jackson, Sharon Kell and Jonell Chernetsky all of Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 7 pm on Monday June 26, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN. Visitation will begin after 11 am on Monday at the funeral home.
