She was born on July 7, 1914 in Huntsville, KY the daughter of Jake and Minnie Vaughn Mefford. Mrs. McKee worked for serveral years at the Charlestown High School Cafeteria and was a member of the Charlestown Nazarene Church. Survivors include her four daughters, Nellie Carmon, Nancy L. Masingo, Rita Allen and Connie Badger; three sisters, Elsie McVicker, Betty Groves and Nettie Fisher; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
