Dorothy Raye "Dottie" Fields

Dorothy Raye “Dottie” Fields, 78 of Nabb, IN passed away on Thursday April 16, 2020 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on December 31, 1941 in Clark County, IN to Van R and Ruby Benedict Cleffman.  Dottie was a member of New Hope Community Church and a teacher’s assistant for 42 years at New Washington Elementary School.

Dottie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Megan Greenwell, brother, Barry Cleffman and sister, Marianne Muncy.

Dottie is survived by her husband, Robert L. Fields; son, Robbie L. Fields of Winfield, KS; daughters, Sonya Whitfield (Kelvin) of Jeffersonville, IN and Melody Knopf (Steve) of Eastwood, KY; grandchildren, Robert L. Fields, III of Cibolo, TX, Misti Fields of Dallas, TX, Samara Tarkington of Midwest City, OK, Connor Fields of Winfield, KS, Isaac Whitfield of Jeffersonville, IN, Van Knopf of Knoxville, TN and Sam Knopf of Eastwood, KY and seven great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and a Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
