Dorothy Louise (Hostetler) Boley, 93, of Marysville, IN peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at The Waters Nursing Home in Scottsburg, IN.
She was born on September 16, 1929, to Emma (Stillhammer) and Beck Hostetler. She retired from ICI America in Charlestown, IN where she worked for over 25 years. She was a member of Marysville Christian Church and a member of the Rebecca’s.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her trusted companion, Little Bit; aunt and uncle, Paul, and Mary Hostetler; sons, Steven Boley and Eston Boley; daughters, Kathy Baird and Elaine Singer; son-in-law, Richard Baird; grandchildren, Allen Shepherd, Davy Singer, and Ed Boley.
She is survived by her grandchildren; Michelle Erwin, Nicole (Bobby) Chapa, Candace (Ryan) Herald, Brittany Boley, Beth (Donnie) Daniel, Michael (Heather) Boley, great-grandchildren, Brandon Singer, Blake Finchum, Izzie Campbell, Lauren Chapa, Hunter Chapa, Mallory Herald, Wyatt Herald, Clay Boley, and Tate Boley; and four great-great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-laws, Pam Boley and Retha Boley of Marysville, IN.
Dorothy spent many years at the racetrack watching her sons race and her grandchildren’s sporting events. She loved to crochet and was always working on a blanket. She spent her summers by the pool tanning and watching all the grandkids swim. She loved to play cards and work her seek and find puzzles.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11 am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow at the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm, and after 9 am on Friday at the funeral home.
