She was born Oct. 3, 1942 in Huntingburg, IN to Lawrence and Mary Bell Knies and passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She worked for I.C.I. for 28 years in the sewing and custodial area and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sellersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Janet Knies.
She is survived by her brother; David Knies of Charlestown and her sister Linda Knies of Charlestown.
