Doris Weaver (Wade) Baird

Doris Weaver Wade Baird, 80, of Charlestown died Wednesday at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg. She was born on May 13, 1931 to John and Flo Brindley Wade in Gum Springs, AL. She was a graduate of the old Louisville Girls High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James Wade, and a son-in-law Dave Muncy.
She is survived by her sons Tom Baird of New Albany, and Wade Baird of Charlestown; daughters: Darlene Maples (Mike) of New Albany, Sue Muncy of Jeffersonville, Penny Wetherby of Simpsonville, KY, and Kristal Ison (Greg) of Charlestown; sisters: Jane Crook of Shively, KY, Mary Schaffner of Louisville, and Margaret Jennings of Louisville; grandchildren Cody, Liz, Charlene, Hye, Kim, Cassie, Christopher, Darren, and Marlee; great grandchildren Sha Anne, Avery, and Kaitlynn.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday February 27, at 5:00PM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00PM until the time of the service.
