Donnie Ray Davidson, Sr., 57, of North Vernon, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.
He was born on November 7, 1956 to John Henry and Alice Gayle (Collins) Davidson in Leslie Co., KY. He was a self-employed mechanic.
Survivors include his son, Donnie Ray Davidson, Jr. of Louisville, KY; daughter, Betty Rose Baker of Louisville, KY; mother, Alice Morrison of Winter Garden, FL; brother, Aaron Davidson of Ocee, FL; sisters, Faye Partin of Talking Rock, GA, Carolyn Hicks of Winter Haven, FL, Betty Sue Jackson of Charlestown, IN, Marietta Middlebrook of Jeffersonville, IN, Barbara Harrison of Winter Garden, FL, and Linda Glisson of Winter Garden, FL; a daughter who he raised, Monica Cooper of Anchorage, AK; companion, Diane Watkins of North Vernon, IN; 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11am on Thursday till the time of the service.
