Donald Eugene Vest, born on August 20, 1966, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a cherished brother, a loving uncle, and a steadfast friend whose generous spirit and zest for life touched everyone he met.
Donald was known for his outgoing personality and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Throughout his life, he always supported and loved his family and friends deeply. A true jokester at heart, he carried on the lighthearted legacy of his father and brother, Tony, bringing laughter and joy to those around him. His warmth and humor will be profoundly missed.
In addition to his captivating personality, Donald had a passion for outdoor activities that brought him great joy. He loved going camping, where he created lasting memories with family and friends amidst nature. He also enjoyed playing Corn Hole, a game that often became a spirited competition during gatherings.
Donald leaves behind his beloved brothers, Raymond Vest and George Vest, and his dear sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Lone and Patty Vest. He was a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews, each of whom carried a piece of his playful spirit with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene M. and Aline Eggenspiller Vest, his brother, Anthony Vest, and his sister, Dianna Grimes. Their memories live on through those who knew and loved Donald.
