Donald S. Moore, Jr., 59, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at his home.
He was born on August 21, 1955 to Donald and Sharon (Tucker) Moore, Sr. in Jeffersonville, IN. He worked as an offshore oil operator. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Moore, Sr.
Survivors include his sons, Donald S. Moore III of New Orleans, LA, and Raymond Moore of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Jenny Gegenheimer (Paul) of New Orleans, LA; mother, Sharon Moore Kirkpatrick of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Mark Moore (Sonia) of Houston, TX, and David Moore (Jill) of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Joyce Warren of Charlestown, IN; grandson, Landon Moore; nieces and nephews, Mark Moore, Jr., DJ Moore (Kelsie), Samantha Moore, and Brandi Zollman (Joe).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11am at the E-Church on Morrow St. in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 2pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, and after 10am on Saturday at the church
