Donald “Donnie” McDaniel, 75, of Scottsburg, and formerly of Mahan Road in Marysville, IN, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Scott Memorial Hospital.
He was born on September 28, 1936 to Theodore and Daisy (Mahan) McDaniel in Clark County, IN. He was a retired farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Irvin McDaniel, and brother-in-law Ray Marling.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Gardner (Mark) of Austin, IN; sons, Mark McDaniel (Paula) of Lexington, IN, and Andrew McDaniel of Madison, IN; sisters,
Carol Marling of New Washington, IN, Inez Willey (Garner) of Alta Vista, VA, Charlotte Jones (Sonny) of Charlestown, IN, Loretta Seals (Eugene) of Marysville, IN, and Sylvia Jones (Roger) of New Washington, IN; brothers, Gerald McDaniel (Deanna) of Branson, MO, and Allen McDaniel (Debbie) of New Washington, IN; grandchildren, Travis, Amy, Seth, and Alana; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Hayden, Raegan; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11am at the Beswick Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
