Donald Lee Grimes

Mr. Grimes passed away on Tuesday Dec. 22, 2009 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born on September 23, 1938 in Lebanon, KY to Bradley William and Elizabeth Louise Caudill Grimes. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Grimes was a driver examiner for the BMV of Indiana, former manager of Gateway Supermarket in Jeffersonville, IN, a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY and Jeffersonville, IN, and the Masonic Lodge #340 in Jeffersonville

He is survived by his wife Jane Merritt Grimes; mother Elizabeth Louise Grimes of Jeffersonville, IN; sons Don L. Grimes Jr. (Trish) and Darin Grimes both of Jeffersonville, IN; step-sons Kendall Hensley of Jeffersonville, IN and John Hensley (Somjai) of England; sisters Lisa Kay Finn and Linda Sue Young both of New Albany, IN and Barbara Jean Callahan of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren Johnathan, Jacob, Samuel, and Amanda and his companion his shihtzu dog Precious.
