Donald Eugene Byers, 79, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Wellstone Regional Hospital.
He was born on October 28, 1937 to Edwin Paul and Florence Pearl (Batman) Byers in Bedford, IN. He was a Navy Veteran, and a retired machinist. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Violet Byers.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Renck (Charles) of Charlestown, IN; son, Wes Byers (Amy) of Charlestown, IN; sister, Linda Seafros (Mike) of Pickerington, OH; grandchildren, Aaron, Matthew, and Anna Byers; great-grandson, Eric Byers.
Family has chosen cremation ashes to be buried in the Charlestown Cemetery. No services at this time. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is handling the arrangements.
