Donald Lee Askren

Donald Lee Askren, 80, formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Pleasant Hill, MO.

He was born on October 9, 1937 in Woodlawn, OH to Edward and Evelyn McFarland Askren.  Donald was a former business owner, a member of the New Chapel United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville, IN, the Masonic Lodge #407 in LaGrange, KY, Scottish Rite Valley of Louisville and the Kosair Shrine.

Survivors include his Son Ben Askren (Valerie) of Lexington, KY. daughter, Angela Askren of Pleasant Hill, MO; brothers, Howard Askren, Paul Askren, Alan Askren and Timothy Askren all of Cincinnati, OH, grandchildren, Aislee Gonzalez, Walter Askren, Emma Askren and Lawson Gonzalez.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12pm to 3pm at the Grayson Funeral Home. Scottish Rite services and Masonic Services will be held on Sunday at 2pm.
