Diane Lynn Mullins, born on June 4, 1945, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in her hometown. Diane's was a reflection her vibrant spirit, filled with dedication to her career, family, and community.
A proud graduate of Jeffersonville High School, Diane embarked on a fulfilling professional journey as an Executive Secretary at Ivy Tech College, where she devoted 17 years of her life to supporting education and facilitating the success of those around her. Her colleagues fondly remembered her as outspoken, personable, and a genuinely good person who touched the lives of many.
Diane's commitment extended beyond her career; she was an active volunteer, contributing her time and effort to the gift shop at Clark Memorial Hospital and VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Scottsburg. She also found fellowship and purpose as a member of the Bethany Christian Church, where she connected with her community in meaningful ways.
In her leisure time, Diane enjoyed watching golf, particularly taking pleasure in seeing her brothers Michael and Don play. She found joy in solving Seek and Find puzzles, gathering with friends for bunko, and spending time bowling—activities that showcased her energetic and engaging personality.
Diane is survived by her son, Michael Mullins, and her brother, Don Miley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ona "Bozo" Miley and Agnes Vest Miley, as well as her siblings: David Miley, Earl Miley, Michael Miley, Gerald Miley, and Patricia Stotts. Diane also mourned the loss of her granddaughter, Brianna Mullins.
The community is invited to celebrate Diane’s life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00 PM, at Grayson Funeral Home, 893 High Street, Charlestown, IN. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, New Washington.
