Delmos Davidson 86 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 27, 1938, in Hyden, KY to Henry and Essie Blevins Davidson. Delmos was a member of the Living Waters House of Prayer in Charlestown and was a retired mechanic and equipment operator. He was an avid fisherman, and a lifelong musician playing all kinds of music, especially Bluegrass. Delmos was known to be an avid storyteller and enjoyed going to flea markets and pawn shops, driving through the country, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Nyoka Davidson.
Survivors include his children, Michael Davidson of Charlestown, Robbie Davidson, and his wife Teresa of Charlestown, Kathy Sue Crider of Charlestown, Denise Duvall of Charlestown, David Spear and his wife Candace of Greenville, IN, and Richard Spear and his wife Vada of Charlestown; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday.
