Della Brewer, 72, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on September 19, 1945 to Bruce and Myrtle (Turner) Masingo in Middlesboro, KY. She was a homemaker, and a devote Christian who taught Sunday school for many years at Pleasant Ridge Baptist church where she was a member.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Brewer of Charlestown, IN; son, Randall Brewer (Sonya) of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Sheryl Timberlake (Dennis) of Pekin, IN, and Cindy Kolb (Carl) of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Bruce Masingo, Jr. (Elaine) of FL, and Reggie Masingo (LaVonne) of KY; sister Faye Evans of KY; grandchildren, Drew Kolb, Matthew Kolb, and Lucas Brewer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1pm at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, and after 11am on Thursday at the church.
