Delcia Ann (Abbott) Smith

Delcia Ann (Abbott) Smith, 70, of New Washington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her home.

She was born on September 27, 1947 to John and Celia (Cory) Abbott in Scottsburg, IN. She was a retired supervisor for Phillip Morris in Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Viola Vojkufka, Vada Short, Viva Stricker, and Vivian Bessler; brothers, William Henderson, Walter Henderson, Claudis Henderson, James Abbott, Joseph Abbott, Edward Henderson, and Kenneth Henderson.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Smith, Sr.; daughter, Stephanie Wells of New Washington, IN;  step-son, Richard A. Smith, Jr. of Louisville, KY; brother, John R. Abbott of Lexington, IN; sisters, Virginia Abbott of Charlestown, IN, and Martha Righthouse of Nabb, IN; grandchildren, Mark W. Eurton, Jr., Ashley Reid, Andrew Eurton, Connor Smith, and Megan R. Smith; great-grandchildren, Audrey Eurton, Hunter Eurton, Joseph Simpson, and Kaden Eurton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in the Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm, and after 9am on Monday.
