Deborrah Gay (Tyler) Mcleland

Deborrah Gay McLeland 74 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was born on January 26, 1950, in Jeffersonville, IN to James and Hortence Raisor Tyler.  She was a former bookkeeper and a banker.  She enjoyed the outdoors, animals of any kind, hiking, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time laughing with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Tyler.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Mendez (Alex) of Charlestown, sons, Kyle McLeland (Allison) of Clarksville, IN, Jason McLeland of Charlestown; companion, Jim Becknell of Charlestown; sister Pamela Ayres (Clarence) of Jeffersonville, grandchildren, James, Alyssa, Megan, Daniel, Dylan, Tyrah; step-grandchildren, Dakoda and Shelby and 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Tim Ayres, Tracy Banet, and Tammy Davis.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 9:00 am on Saturday.
