David Lynn Stone, 66 of Charlestown passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Stone was born on April 4, 1947 in Clark County, IN the son of Paul and Isolene Hostettler Stone. David was Founder and Developer of the Rivers Edge Community, owner of the Train Station Restaurant in Charlestown and owner of C. & D. General Contractors.
Survivors include sons, David L. Stone(Nicole) of Sellersburg, IN, Rodney A. Stone(Cindy) and Rusty Holland both of Charlestown; brother, Larry Balles of Underwood, IN; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn Stone and a brother, Paul Stone.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday until time of service.
