David Paul Siewert

David Paul Siewert 79 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Thursday December 8, 2022 at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born on September 8, 1943, in Louisville, KY to William and Edna Wirth Siewert.  David was a retired machinist for Reynolds Metals where he worked for 38 years.  He enjoyed singing and entertaining others, woodworking, playing tennis and golf as a member of the Elk Run Golf Club in Jeffersonville and following the Kentucky Wildcats and New York Yankees.

David was preceded in death by his grandson, Alexander Storm Franklin, sister, Judy Bartlett and brother William Siewert, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Montgomery Siewert; children, Jennifer Elmore and her husband Chris of Jeffersonville, IN, Julie Siewert of Jeffersonville and Edward Siewert and his wife Lindsey of Jeffersonville; sister, Peggy Hostettler and her husband Jimmy of New Washington, IN and brother, Lee Siewert and his wife Jot of New Washington; sister in law, Linda Siewert of New Washington; step daughters, Connie Davis and her husband Tim of Dade City, FL, Barbara White and her husband Kevin of Land o’ Lakes, FL, step son, Mike Gilson; grandchildren, Stella and Lance Siewert, Stephanie and Melissa Davis, Lauren and Jason and Natalie White and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday December 16, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and after 9:00 am on Friday. Expressions of sympathy in memory of David may take the form of donations to the Addie & Baylor Kirchgessner Foundation, cards will be available at the funeral home.
