David Allen Mattingly, Sr

David Allen Mattingly, Sr., 57 of Marysville, IN passed away on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at his residence.

David was born on December 28, 1960 in Springfield, IL.  His adoptive parents were William W. and Naomi Mattingly and Donald and Ruth Mitchell who preceded him in death.  He was retired from the U.S. Army and a former worker for the United States Postal Service in Louisville, KY.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 335, V.F.W. Post 1427 and the D.A.V.

Survivors include his wife Suzanne Armstrong Mattingly; sons, David A Mattingly, Jr. of Salem, IN and Shaun Mattingly of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Kristina Williams of Charlestown; brother, Michael W. Mitchell of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Terri Homerbocker, Beth Thomas and Trudy Mitchell all of Pensacola, FL and Debbie Sorrell of Thomaston, GA; step-father, John Bobe of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Madison, Micah, Kaitlyn, Iziah, Jacqueline, Caleb, Mary Kate, Kinzie, Aaliyah and Ryder.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.  Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 am on Tuesday.

Military graveside services will be held at the cemetery.
