David Lynn Looney

David Lynn Looney 59, of Henryville passed away on Thursday July 29, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

David was born on December 26, 1961 in Clark County, IN to James B. and Marietta Mills Looney.  He was a US Army and Navy veteran, retired police officer, firefighter and EMS worker and a member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226, Sellersburg Moose Lodge, American Legion Post # 204, Fraternal Order of Eagles, 40 and 8 Club and the Kosair Shriners.

He is survived by his wife Christina Looney; daughters, Jennifer (Justin) Underwood of Lexington, IN, Breena (Benjamin) White of Sellersburg, IN, Laci Meador of Henryville; sons, Michael (Natalie) Looney of Charlestown and James (Candace) Meador of Sellersburg; step daughters, Nakia White and Sapphire Russell both of Louisville, KY, and Bryann  Russell of Henryville; grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Bella, Connor, McKenzie, Elijah, Gavin, Liam and Layla.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 10:00 am on Tuesday.

Masonic Services will be at 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
