David Lee Singer, 68, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Kindred Hospital at Jewish in Louisville.
He was born on October 26, 1943 to Dallas Denver and Delma Horine Singer in Bethlehem, IN. He retired from Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville after 41 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Wayne Singer; a step-son, Allen Wayne Shepherd; brothers, Gary and Steve Cornell.
Survivors include his ex-wife and friend, Elaine Singer of Charlestown, IN;
son, David Denver Singer of Japan; daughter, Polly Lynn Moon of Washington; brothers, Dallas Singer of New Washington, IN, and Raymond Singer of Marysville, IN; 6 grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday.
