David Jesse Turner

David Jesse Turner, 39 of Louisville, KY passed away on Sunday July 3, 2022, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

He was born on March 15, 1983, in Louisville to Johnnie Ray Turner and Sherri Bates Gillock.  He was a server in various restaurants in Louisville.  David was a diabetic and attended Camp Hendon each year where he served as a camp counselor.

Survivors include his father and step mother, Johnnie and Brenda Turner of Otisco, IN; Mother and step father, Sherri and Randy Gillock of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, John A. Turner (Frances) of Lanesville, IN; step brother, Tim Gillock of Louisville; step sisters, Candice Gillock (Tony) of Louisville, Lisa Beeman (Brock) of Spencer, IN, Jaime Campbell (Jeremy) of New Washington, IN and Danielle Stone (Britt) of Floyds Knobs, IN; step grandmother, Easter Gillock of Louisville and his devoted best friend Gage Wright and the Wright family.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday July 7, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday.
