David Lee Goodwin, 62, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011.
He was born on October 29, 1948 to Lawrence and Laverne Smith Goodwin in Scott County, IN. He retired after 43 years at Cummins Engine in Seymour, IN. He enjoyed fishing, was a Cincinnati Reds fan, and a former coach for Charlestown Little League.
Survivors include his wife, Westa Bledsoe Goodwin of Charlestown, IN; sons, Brad Goodwin (Shannon) of Marysville, IN, and Jeff Goodwin (Christine) of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Laura Gregory (Robert) of Newalla, OK; grandchildren, Dustin, Megan, Jessica, Jacob, Alyssa, and Kara; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, and after 9:30am on Wednesday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Crusade for Children.
