Daniel Clayton May, 62, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

He was born on June 3, 1958 to John C. and Deloris J. May in Indianapolis, IN. He is preceded in death by his father, John C. May, Sr.;  brother, Clinton May;  nephew, Jason Breeden;  great-nephew, Alex Raisor.  He attended the Charlestown Schools, was a former mechanic and member of the Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville and Masonic Lodge #511 in Louisville, KY.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Deloris Cox of Charlestown; fiance, Patricia Crowe of Greenville, IN; Step-Children, Tony Harvey of Shepherdsville, KY, Nathan Harvey of Memphis, IN and Carol Harvey of Jeffersonville;  brothers, Kevin May of Charlestown, Ronald May of Charlestown, James Farmer of Boonville, IN, John May, Jr. of Indianapolis, James May of Indianapolis;  Sisters, Rhonda (Tim) Kern of Otisco, IN, Kennea May of Charlestown, Shetila (Marshall) Rambert of Sellersburg, IN and his best friend his dog Sadie

Funeral Services will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
