Daniel C. Cox, Sr., 68 of Charlestown, IN died Friday May 11, 2012 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
He was born on May 19, 1943 in Richlands, VA to Ellis J. and Mae Roman Cox. He was a retired employee of IN-JOY Solaria of Buckner, KY and loved his family, his cats and watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Hansel Cox and Ellis J. Cox Jr., and sisters Lois Cochran and Phyllis Burnette.
He is survived by his son, Daniel C. Cox, Jr. of Jeffersonville, IN and his daughter Tammy Boman (Tim) of Marysville, IN; sisters, Nancy Monk and Shelby White both Richlands, VA. and two grandchildren Jason Case and Brooke Boman.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday May 14th at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. on Monday until the time of the service.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
