Dana Faye Combs, 88, of Charlestown died Friday at her home.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1920 in Letcher Co., KY the daughter of Henry and Pearlie Mae Boggs Frazier. She was a former cafeteria worker at the old North Clark Community Hospital and at Charlestown High School, and she worked in the bag room at the Indiana Ammunition Plant. She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Lodge # 597.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Combs, sister; Dixie Dallas, grandchildren; Paige Moakler, Michael B. Combs and Michael T. Snider.
She is survived by her sons, Gaylord Combs of Scottsville, KY and Roger Combs of Marysville, IN, daughters; Lynetta Snider, LaVonda Sullivan and Lisa Raisor all of Charlestown, brothers; Sol Frazier of Pekin, IN, Murl Frazier of Charlestown and Odell Frazier of New Johnsonville, TN, sister; Bobbie Jean Hawkins of Charlestown. 10 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
