Cortez Ray Gray, 78 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday August 22, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on February 24, 1937 in Monroe County, Kentucky to Cordell H. and Myrtle Crowe Gray and was a retired employee of Miller Pipeline.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Lynette Ford Gray; daughters, April L. Bower and Tabitha D. Schocke both of Charlestown; sisters, Inez Smith and Nadean Ryherd both of Arthur, Il., Jean McPhearon, Linda Coulter and Qwen Hay all of Thompkinsville, KY; grandchildren Chris Bower of Sellersburg, Ashley Bower, Anthony Schocke and Demi Robison all of Charlestown, great grandchildren, Layton Bower and Isiah Marczack both of Charlestown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
