Cora Irene (Sandlin) Crase

Cora Irene Crase, 87 of Corydon, IN. passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.  She was born on December 27, 1933, in Perry County, KY, to the late James and Jesse Strong Sandlin.  Irene was a retired assembly line worker for R.C.A Television in Bloomington, IN. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a faithful member of Faith Assembly Church in Clarksville, IN.

Irene is survived by her husband of 71 years, Willard Crase; her sons, Roger (Dana) Crase of St. Augustine, FL, Kenneth (Cindy) Crase of Jeffersonville, IN and Kevin (Sandy) Crase of Corydon, IN; daughter, Janice (Freddie) Feliciano of Irverness, FL; brother, Herman Strong of Southport, N.C.; grandchildren, Hobie Crase, Yancy Crase, Aaron (Jessica) Crase, Jeremy (Hannah) Crase and Amanda Grubb; 9 great grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Crase; siblings, Ruth, Doris, Mary, Jackie, Jimmy, Walter, and Nancy.

Funeral services for Irene will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, beginning at 10:00 am at Faith Assembly Church, 1715 Old Potters Lane, Clarksville, IN 47129, with Brother James Allen officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 am until service time at the church.  Burial will follow in the Charlestown Cemetery, Charlestown, IN.
