Cora Ann Collier

Cora Ann Collier, 82, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. Cora was she was born on February 25, 1944 in Three Springs, Kentucky to the late Reuben D. and Cora Celia (Jessie) Meador. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Jones, brother, Clifton (Ruth) Meador, and her sister, Mary Frances (Larry) Cardwell; granddaughter-in-law, Laci Rai Jones.

Cora Ann enjoyed being a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Blazing Bright Chapter 597, served as a past Worthy Matron, and very proud of celebrating yearly with her class mates of Charlestown High School Alumni Class of 1962.

Cora Ann is survived by her loving sons, Dale (Lindsey) Collier, Jay (Jennifer) Collier, and Corey Collier; sister, LaVerne (Bill) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Dee (Hilary) Jones, Cindy (Ian) Hunt, Ethan Jones, Zachary (Taylor) Collier, and Kaylee Collier (Mikal Mason); great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Dixon Jones, Maggie and Callie Hunt, Shelby and Wade Jones, and Nora Ruth Collier; son-in-law, Danny Jones; along with several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown Chapel, (893 High Street). Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am also at Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown Chapel with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
